Dogs are lovely and adorable creatures. They are valuable furry families. They can be your best friend, your loyal friend, and your companion for life.
But no matter how valuable they can be, there are still parts in the world that don’t see them like how we do. Some dogs get abandoned, mistreated, and abused. We continue to hold on to the small percentage of human beings that treasure these little ones. Up to this moment, we dream of a world where cruelty against animals doesn’t exist.
Gossamer, a grey and white terrier mix, suffered abandonment from his previous owners. He stood there alone in a Los Angeles park for three weeks. No one knew how he ended up there. But he still waited for his owners to pick him up and bring him home, but to his dismay, no one came.
Luckily, some kind neighbors made sure to keep him fed and dehydrated while he stayed in the park. When they concluded that no one would take him home, they called Hope For Paws for assistance.
At first, Gossamer is quite reluctant to approach them. But with gentle coaxing and cheeseburgers, he finally came out. It was like he knew that finally, someone noticed him and he will be saved.
They went to the veterinary clinic to conduct tests if he has illnesses. Thankfully, this young boy is healthy. They bathed him as well. In addition, they made sure to neuter, vaccinate, and keep Gossamer healthy for him to be ready for his future home.
This young Gossamer stayed at the shelter for a while. He showers the staff with hugs, kisses, playfulness, and happiness.
After months of playing at his shelter, Gossamer finally got adopted by a loving family! This dog with sad eyes is finally in his forever home!
