Dogs don’t have plenty of options when it comes to nourishment. They are fed either raw food or dry kibble. Dogs eventually become fed up with these minimal choices.
That’s why some of them would refuse to eat at some point. It’s not that they are sick. They just happen to be longing for something more fun and exciting to put into their mouths.
That said, dog parents should know how to spice things up in terms of what they feed their canine companions. At least, from time to time. If only to keep their dog’s palate and taste buds exercised.
Take a cue from our featured video courtesy of Lizzy Capri. Here she makes a burrito for her dog Milli. Watch what’s in Lizzy’s canine burrito recipe.
According to Lizzy, Milli has never had a burrito before. So she thought, why not indulge her dog with a homemade burrito. She’s considering it as Milli’s cheat day.
Simple ingredients make up Lizzy’s homemade burrito. She uses bacon, ground beef, lettuce, and mozzarella. She’s using store-bought tortillas because who’s got the time to make homemade tortillas anyway?
Preparing Lizzy’s burrito recipe is simple. It begins with cooking the burrito’s filling. That means mixing the meat ingredients in a heated skillet doused with oil.
Soon as all the meat is adequately cooked, Lizzy moves on to the next step. Lizzy wraps a piece of tortilla around meat mixed with cheese and lettuce. Just like that, burrito’s done.
The next step is Milli’s favorite. It’s the part where the dog gets to taste her mommy’s cooking. We can tell Milli love’s Lizzy’s burrito.
Milli attacks her burrito like a pro. You can’t tell it’s her first time. You go, Milli!
We think we’d love to have some of Lizzy’s burrito too. That recipe looks yummy.
